If you are an EU citizen with a permanent residence permit in the Czech Republic and wish to terminate your stay in the country, you must return your permanent residence permit to the Ministry of the Interior no later than 3 days before the end of your stay.
If you are a family member with a temporary residence permit in the Czech Republic and wish to terminate your stay in the country, you must return your temporary residence permit to the Ministry of the Interior no later than 3 days before the end of your stay.
The Ministry of the Interior will revoke your residence permit based on your request.

You are an EU citizen with a permanent residence permit or his/her family member with a temporary residence permit and you intend to terminate your stay in the Czech Republic.

What you need if you are using this service
If you decide to terminate your stay in the Czech Republic, submit your residence card to the relevant office of the Ministry of the Interior no later than three days before the expiry of your residence permit.
Where and how to solve this service
Submit your residence card in person at the Ministry of the Interior office of your catchment area.
You can also send the document to the office by post. In this case, send it to the address of the office of your catchment area according to your reported place of residence as a registered letter, stating that you are terminating your stay in the Czech Republic.
