A certificate of residence is a document that contains information about the last proceedings related to your residence permit application in the Czech Republic that came into effect. In particular, it contains the purpose of your residence, specification of the time for which the residence permit is valid and the address of your current reported place of residence.

What you need if you are using this service
To issue a certificate of residence you will need:
- completed form and
- travel document.
Where and how to solve this service
You can apply to the Ministry of the Interior for a certificate of residence:
- by submitting it in person at the office or
- by post.
How much will you pay
You will pay an administratice fee of 50 CZK.
If you apply in person, the administrative fee must be paid by credit card at a Ministry of the Interior office.
If you apply by post, the administrative fee must be paid by bank transfer via the payment details generator on the Information Portal for Foreigners.
