Hlavní informace
The Czech sections of the lyceum in Dijon, Nîmes or the Friedrich Schiller High School in Pirna offer an educational programme in agreement with the Ministry of Education on the basis of a bilateral agreement. For this reason, the certificates issued by these schools are certified directly by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS). The recognition of the equivalence of foreign education in the so-called European Schools under the Convention on the Status of European Schools is performed in a similar manner (Recognition of the equivalence of foreign certificates for graduates of a European school). Certificates from other foreign secondary schools are nostrified (or their equivalence is recognised) by regional offices.
If you are a graduate of the above-mentioned educational programmes, the MEYS will issue you a nostrification clause to this certificate upon request, which recognises the validity of the foreign certificate in the Czech Republic.

What do I need to convert the education documents accompanying my application?
It is possible to convert documents in paper form up to 150 pages long at public administration contact points. For time reasons, it is not possible to convert a larger document at the contact points, but it is possible to use a specialized workplace of the Czech Post, which is equipped for these needs.
The converted document in electronic form can be handed over to the customer in one of the following ways:
- on a CD (the customer will receive the medium free of charge at the contact point),
- on a USB flash drive (if the customer brings his/her own drive),
- by uploading it to the electronic Czech POINT Repository. In this case, the customer is given a confirmation that the document has been inserted into the Repository, which is either printed or sent to a data box.
